Printmaking in Carrara

There is now a possibility of working with graphics (etchings, intaglio and drypoint) in Carrara. Global Stone Workshop® collaborates with a well-equipped studio very close to the centre of the city. Global Stone Workshop® participants are housed, at special rates, at the Casa Albergo Turimar in Marina di Massa, 3 km away from AMA Srl's workshop.

Casa Albergo Turimar is the largest hotel on the entire Versilia coast, and has two swimming pools. From July to August a single room with shower cost EU 266/week, including breakfast and pool. The cost is lower, EU 189/week, during the other months of the year.

Courses at Statuario, in Provence, France

In natural setting, in a big olive & oak tree orchard, with swimmingpool, surrounded by vineyards, at 3 km of the charming village of Cotignac, Olivier Bataille & Saskia Van Der Made, both professional sculptors, welcome you in their home/atelier.

In the workshops are used a large variety of marbles from France, Italy & Belgium. The workshops are directed in "direct-cut"-technique.

The stay with lodging in 2 double rooms, including 2 dinners, breakfast & lunches. Also possibility lodging in the surroundings.

Periods in summer only:

1) Exclusive "nine-days workshop".
1/7-12/7: directed by Saskia. Group of max 4 people.

2) 4 "one-week workshops" of 5 days each.
Groups of max 8 people**:

10/8-15/8 (5 days) directed by Olivier.
31/8-5/9 (5 days) directed by Olivier.
