Donji Humac and Pucisca, Island of Brach, Croatia

From 2004 Croatia has opened up its quarries for us -the most beautiful quarries on Brach, an island a 50-minute ferry ride from the town of Split.

Brach’s white limestone is exported all over the world. The White House in Washington and the medieval city of Dubrovnic were built with that very limestone.
