GREETINGS TO ALL OF YOU…
… scattered around the World.
All of you, who have brought us happiness with your letters, your
interest in sculpting stone and your participation in the120 workshops
we have organised since1996.
Global Stone Workshop® turns 12 years old -- a respectable age for
an "idea" carried out without financial assistance from anyone.
This "idea" is backed by fellow artists from different parts of the
world who desire to meet and work side by side in places where the
tradition of stone sculpting is still alive.
This year we offer again two courses of marble sculpting for artists
and creators with little or no experience in stone. All of last
year's participants, except one, are now coming back to work on their
own! This is the best proof that their teacher, sculptor Cristina
Carusi, has taught and inspired them well.
The Fantastic Novelty of 2008 is the Danang Sculpture Center, which
this year is beginning a long-term collaboration with Global Stone
Workshop®. The Center is open year-round. We suggest

Global Stone Workshop™ is planning to take a contingent of sculptors to
Vietnam at the latest in January 2009.
